I really want to go shopping, since I am currently not employed I am not at liberty to spend whatever lousy amount of money I have in my account. However I have taken on the hobby of avid window shopper via la world wide we, which is a wonderful time killer on my lovley job less days :). Thus I have been able to take my time and view plenty of the trends and looks that are hot right now. And from what Ive been seeing from the various stores, from Aritzia to Zara I am quite pleased. The only issue I have is the horrid weather here in Vancouver, which is putting a strain on my summer wordrobe. However I will share my top 5 must haves for this summer anyway with or with out the sunshine, however sunshine is prefered with most of these items : P.
1. My top must have is a tight dark wash pair of skinny jeans/ jeggings that cut off above your ankles, like flood pants. These can be worn with anything and can be worn all summer especially in our gloomy vancouver weather!
2. A cute pair of flat gladiator type flat sandals that have some sort of floral decal on it. I saw so many in many different colors, and I loved them all. They would look great with any outfit and add a pretty feminine touch to any and every outfit.
3. A braided thin (about 1inch thick) belt. Any color and can be worn with any outfit! Hands down a must have. This can be worn all year long infact.
4. Though I do have mixed feelings about these and feel that they should be worn as a bathing suit cover only, a romper or jumpsuit. They are not easy to wear but I think for the beach or pool they could be perfect!
5. And my final must have is a pretty colouful and feminine dress, right now the big thing is maxi and I have nothing against a maxi however wear them cautiously, one wrong move and you'll look like your wearing a bag or a curtain! However short ones are also a great option and work for everyone!
now I know that these 5 won't be enough however as staples they can help you get a jump start to a great summer wordrobe!
For now happy blogging :)
